What is Inscope?

Inscope is an AI-native platform for preparing financial statements. Its agent, Penny, drafts the statement, footnotes and disclosures from the trial balance, foots and ties every number, completes the disclosure checklist and traces each figure back to its source, on top of the audit software a firm already runs.

Inscope says it works on top of the audit software a firm already runs, with no migration. Wolters Kluwer offers it inside CCH Axcess and CCH ProSystem fx Audit in the US (October 2026), and Inflo integrates its Digital Audit platform with Inscope (April 2026).

Recent updates

• October 22, 2026: Wolters Kluwer partnered with Inscope to launch agentic financial statement preparation in CCH Axcess: roll forward prior-year statements, generate statements from trial balance data, automatically check footing and cross-footing, flag potential disclosure gaps, and keep version history, blacklines and an audit trail. It is available now to US firms using CCH Axcess and CCH ProSystem fx Audit. ^[8]
• April 14, 2026: Inflo and Inscope announced a technology partnership that connects Inflo's Digital Audit platform with Inscope's financial statement preparation, so audit context carries through to the final statements. ^[9]
• February 20, 2026: Inscope raised a $14.5 million Series A led by Norwest, with Storm Ventures, Better Tomorrow Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners participating, and said it is onboarding several Top 100 accounting firms. ^[10]
